I wonder anyone still look at this thread...just wondering where in the circuit we put the potentiometer...seems like not in the diagram?? :blink:

The potentiometer is the one to calibrate the voltage and the leds is it? I dont see it too! Btw, how much would the whole thing cost? To get all the LEDs and IC and Capasitors, Diodes and stuff....very interested in doing one.

i saw this sort of hobby model at jln pasar electronic store... below rm30 like that... complete with the stuff and diagram. but dunno what is the voltage limitation ..... hmm, i wonder how to make a digital voltmeter rather then a LED indicator type...
 
yeap, u can find this kits at electronic shop..
btw, its the same circuit like VU meter.. only some resistor different value.

and using this kit also u can make AF meter :D , some resistor value must change only.

ps: if u got very low voltage analogue meter (0.0-1.0 Vmax scale), its also can be use as AF meter. :lol:
