WC, cut down lag doesnt mean u dump in a td05 and turbine spool up at 4krpm, and doesnt mean with cams u can get 3krpm for turbine to spool up, meaning to climb to 4krpm in real fast only.
secondly WC, thats why choosing the right profile and lift for your cam is a must lor, saw the setup on the matspeed super saga with 93t inside?
they extract the power up by utilising flow ported head and stock td04 at 240hp++
though engine reliability is an issue, cause i never seen them finishing 1 race on the super series for the supercar category. same goes as what sdf setup now with bigger turbine and juice.

waikit if you wanna do 9krpm with cams, and bigger turbine also, watch out for your internal( conrod and piston)
uhmm Soon, u got the wrong msg, all the while i was trying to say cams dont help in reducing lag, and i didnt say big turbo will reduce lag as well..

240bhp for that supersaga is so-so only.. considering whats in the internals... do u really think the Td04 they r using is stock? if the turbo/engine is stock.. reliabitlity shouldnt be a problem.

management can be done to reduce lag, proven in my friends satria with TO4 turbo. i think is something to do with advance timming..

waikit: wat sideskirts u want? GSR? e1? terato.com ..there's one guy selling. ori ones.

i want somethings flexible because those fiber very ez get broken into 2...!!!
somethings like bumper those material..

errr yea... sudah ada.... stock ecu cannot handle larger injector well... need the management to pull down the fuel... or else super duper rich hehehe...

Ermm guys, everytime when I engage 1st gear or 2nd gear the car will tend to jerk a little. It's like my whole car is shaking and it's not due to my inefficiency of releasing the clutch

WC,
Ofcourse everyone know that big turbine gives more lag, is just a matter of climbing up fast enough for the turbine to spool up at max boost, when i talk about the cams and ported head.
matspeed supersaga with td04, yes i believe that, cause i was there when they tore down apart to overhaul the engine, things they mentioned they mod, are like cams, shot peen conrod and ofcourse tougher piston(which i didnt ask them much), ported head and probably ported turbine as well. is just a rough estimation, and ofcourse in order to go into the supercar categories, you need to have that amount of power for ya car to join the big players. put aside the reliability issue now.

here's another question, only standalone management the common 1's like motec, haltech, autronic, microtech and apexi powerfc have advance timing setting? or other piggy bag's like unichip, smt6, apexi itc and others have advance timing as well?

dennis, what were u running at that time till u need a standalone to control the fuelling?

wei 1.6mm and 2.0mm metal head gasket got driffent????????
plan to get 1 aready because boosting 1bar everydays without it really seriouly quite risky.. <_<

hmmm first of all i changed to TD05H 16G and plunk in 510cc X 4 injectors... FD3S fuel pump... metal gasket... blah blah blah... b4 this on the previous engine already having problem tuning the APEXi SAFC and AVCR.... car keep on giving me headache hehehe so gave up... redo another engine and once and for all get it the right way lol and this keep all my headache away hehehe...

means get those whole gasket made from copper??
going to get one then i going to plug in when i change timing belt......:P

last time i buy 0.9mm metal gasket at Rm180
i put 2 of the gasket so i will become 1.8mm
metal gasket can be stack!

dennis, with 1.2mm, whats the compression ya getting?

wow stacking 2 metal gasket up, any problem, boosting or revving high?

speedzone, any chances u can get 0.9mm metal gasket at that price ahhh, if yes, will call u up and go down to JB to collect it.
