can feel the diffrence between 0.9 bar and 1.3bar, not like td04, you dont really feel the diffrence between 0.9 and 1.3bar. let us know, if u can feel the diffrence.

like dennis said, wastegate or wastepipe or the exhaust it self, some where might be bocor, who knows.

thanks guys, how does the manual boost controller works? I tought that by just modifying the wastegate so that it release the pressure when it reach a certain higher pressure say 0.9bar.

If it is just modifying the wasegate, it should be very cheap rite and i should can change it back to stock standard if i want to rite?

I am really low on budget,so hope to achieve higher power without spending much!

the budget way is ppl use aquarium tank valve... whereby its inserted in between the actuator and intercooler piping... u control the boost by opening the valve and shutting the valve... for the desired pressure to reach ur desired boost...

izit dat thing oso be called da 'tulang ikan' ah?

will da valves loose pressure easily, heard lotsa boost spike problem.

yup its not stable...
 
it always go 0.1 bar ++ /--

use around 5-8 fish tank , if u use one only then sure the boost spike some time 10psi.. sometimes 21 psi... try b4 aready.

wat other ways to gain my hp with out changing the turbo...??

i just bought a 2nd hand SARD R2D2 BOV. the problem is, the engine mati after i release throttle from 5k++. why ah? how to cure this?
 
if you can notice your bov, theres a screw(allen key screw) on top to adjust the spring rate inside, try to adjust it alil bit more tighter meaning harder, most likely thats the case, the spring is too soft, when venting the pressure out, it vented too much air till too much petrol pumped into the combustion chamber and not enough air to burn and the engine stalled.

another reason maybe the travelling piston of the bov is scratched too much, and is leaking, this 1 meaning you can get another bov already.

another alternative is to send your bov to service at a mechanic, hopefully it can be reoiled and stuff like that

thanks. i think the previous owner set the spring soft. actually i tried to adjust using the allen key screw. but it was hard tightened. and there is 13mm nut, normal 13mm socket can't even fit in. shit..........
 
sound like spring setting too soft....no big deal...

adhust is harder n then spray some WD40 into da BOV when u take out da alenkey nut

boost spike is like sometimes u get low boost. sometimes u get super high boost...or when u boosting high high after 1-2 sec the boost drop..UNSTABLE BOOST

yr bov adjust until too wide aready.. until cause not enough air presure to engine... :lol: thighten it back leh .. :P
more over too wide will cause yr car lose power after boosting. :lol:

i try to adjust the spring harder. but allen key also torn lah. the previous owner screw it too 9 damn tight. somemore there is 1 13mm nut. normal socket can't fit.

272 deg cam? thats garang. u plan to change?
