boost spike...yeh afraid of that...saving to get boost controller wif scramble, external w/gate, bigger turbo & get it retune not satisfied wif current perfomance

ppl say it feel diff, aquarium thingy and boost controller at 1bar... is it ?

boost spike...yeh afraid of that...saving to get boost controller wif scramble, external w/gate, bigger turbo & get it retune not satisfied wif current perfomance

since ur using Haltech E6K then just buy the boost soleniod will do... i think it only cost less than RM1K only... no need to buy after market boost controller wiff scramble or anything...

with soleniod boost controller u will hit ur max boost setting faster than if u don have one...

since ur already have an mivec head on the gsr... why dont u op for a bigger turbo?? ur intake and exhaust flow is greater than the GSR ones....

hehehe okay... enjoy mooding... i was using 93T with TD05H 16G managed by E6K too... then i had an option to plunk in a Mivec top... but in the end i gave up hehe... didnt use the mivec head instead...
 
TT session won't be on so soon, untill we can confirm with those out of KL, if they are coming down lah, like carismagt and bvalve.

yeah, since u have e6k, why not use the e6k and solenoid to control the boosting.

how does e6k control the boost anyway? they have a frequent duty cycle(duty cycle can reduce spike i think), or just max boost with the solenoid ?

you got a quite good setup there, get cams in, tougher internals and bigger turbine, ya car should be kicking asses.

in E6K there is 2 way that u can control the boost... one way would be u install the normal electronic boost controller or if u wan to use the haltech boost controller then u would need to buy the boost controller solenoid...

in the computer setting there is 2 way u can set ur boost...

Variable boost or Non-Variable boost...

Variable Boost would be using the Haltech Boost Knob whereby u can turn ur boost up and down but ofcourse at the range that u preset it...

Non-Variable Boost would be in a way u can use switch to select boost in 2 ways...

1st way would be like the normal electronic boost controller.... High and Low Boost

2nd way would be like the normal electronic boost controller also but wiff additional setting...

High / Mid / Low Boost.....



so far i have not encounter any boost spike problem wiff the E6K unit...
 
Wah, 4G92 Mivec + 4G93t ! I was thinking which engine to play on b4,now u hav both combine together,must be really powerful! What is the horse power u r getting?

i am using spring + abs of GSR now and standard 1.3 spring +abs. all spring cut and adjust at the spring end,so far so good.But now my rear abs koyak already,plan to change to APM 1.8 RTech abs due to low cost about RM90 each only.

Any commen?

i confirm la,my boost is around 0.5bar only,damn! how come lower than u guys one? I heard that GSR got 2 models, 180hp and 210hp,may be my one lower end gua. So,if i plan to up boost,but without changing ECU, injector ,pump etc and still hav reliability, what boost should i go for? and what needs to be done? and the cost as well.

another thing is,how to cut the 180km/h limit?

there is 2 way of removing the Speed Cut.... the proper way which is slightly going to cost u... or the cheap but not really save way....

the proper way would be...

either u change to a Programmable ECU or by installing a REV/SPEED Meter......

the cheaper way would be by removing 2 tiny screw behind ur speedo meter but that would mess up with ur vehicle settings... and chances of short circuit the ECU is high....
 
both da gsr n rs running at da same boost (stock) at 0.7 (10psi, to be exact 0.689474) :)

da 210hp rs come wit a front mount intercooler which looks like a evo intercoller bout da size of a vr4s, oil cooler n manual air-con unit.

to put management system into yr car which one u choose...
