heard that beside upgrading or convert our engine,we also can install a turbokit, is'it posible putting it into my 1.3cc stock engine, non injection..what is the adv/disadvantages...where can i look in for this turbokit n how much is the cost that i have to

tak boleh ler bro...
carbie engines vr hard to do BOT... there are more disadvantages than advantages... if u insist of BOT ur current 4g13 engine, convert to efi only BOT la... but that will also cost u alot....

true.i wanted to BOT a carby but too much money and hassle that isnt worth the money spent.

BOT on carby cannot la... u need to run vr rich in fuel all the time so ur turbo can kick in.... efi can BOT because they ecu can determine how much fuel injected into the TB when turbo'ing and idling...

meant like carbie with BOT must set at least 1500RPM to 2000RPM? hahahahaha

run rich in fuel doesnt mean high rpm... run rich means ur A/F ratio is smaller; hence more fuel in fed compare to air.... coz when turbo kicks in, more air is sucked into the TB... hence when turbo'ing, ur A/F ratio will only balance...

correct me if i'm wrong...

yap u are right, need very rich to prevent from lean which can make your car booom.. its because if your car running lean it can cause u a lot of problem like over heating..
what about mira turbo?? got ecu ah?? and also city carb turbo??

those oem turbo with carb is a petrol sucker..a mira 660 L2 carb turbo can only go for 180km for RM40 petrol..believe? that's wat i heard from the halfcut shop

they run vr rich in fuel mar... thats why fuel consumption so bad lor... thats why it is not recommended to BOT carby cars....

DIY tune A/F ratio on carby cars vr hard ler... unless u have wide band o2 sensor... if not vr hard ler...
wide band o2 sensor cost about rm1k... narrow band o2 sensor found in normal efi engines cannot tell ur A/F ratio accurate...

so, better send to mech....

but i heard some manage to tune with jz their vacuum meter....
http://www.centuryperformance.com/vacuum.asp
(i havent do research in it... if u read and understand adi, give us some tips lar)

u also talak paham mau gua teach u? lol

i don have the 'class' yet la....

btw......proton service centre got A/F testing and tuning? hahahaha

take there tune while service......FOC

haha... i also noobie ma... need people teach...
i think can ask them tune lar... normal carb, anyone also can tune lar, as long as got the gauge... but some experience mech dont need gauge to tune... they use their ears and eyes....

he...he... previous ....my member using 4g15 carb + terbo.....

who say 4g15 carb cannot fix with turbo........can la....

malaysia boleeee

he...he

allo all brother,,
i have my a wira 1.3 injection. my problem is i cant tuned my car.i already send it to a mekanik but they said cannot detect my computer box..and thats the same answer given by the proton services man..can u guys tell me what is the problem actually..what should i do and how is cost me to change it..
