Hmm... due to work, I can't simply head down to KL each time there's a drag battle. And looking at the sepang drag battle forum.. the only results are the FC, with states that it hit 11.5x.. How about Tong Jun and R engineering? I thought they are using hondas? What are their times?

Anyway.. I'm curious about the result of the 15th July Drag battle. Anyone went and watched?

What are the results and times?

i went there but cannot see the timing due to the timing display not working...
the result i heard is
1.vazmaz
2.ahlai (r engineering)
3.crx hyper racing
4.bungah
5 - 8 not sure... hehe

rotary... kesian VTEC fellas. No replacement for displacement when playing NA.
Rear wheel drive somemore... Better launching..

Maybe next up.. VTECs with wheelie bars.. ROFL!

Thanks for the update hattech.. still want to know the timings.

Anyway.. It seems like rather than making the car produce more power, people are going to look for loopholes in the drag battle class rules... thanks to the organisers.

Yeah.. and a minimum weigh rule for it.. or else still people will lighten like crazy...

It'll be fun to see how fast a slightly lightened (removed soundproofing/carpets) will do...

Then people will start concentrating on making more power out of the engine, rather than lighten the hell out of it.

Heard from my friend that the CRX is using a carbon fiber intake manifold... how did he get a hold of that? Those stuff are hard to find for the B-series, and trawling on the net only gets endyn, and they stopped supplying that long time ago..

Or do taiwan make them now?

i've took few pics last saturday especially for the vtec... will post it here if i got free time...

Please do.. I'd like to see how their engine bays look like as well.. clean? messy?

And that CF manifold is something that interests a friend of mine.. he wants to know where to get one.

k, wil post it later...
just stick the CF sticker laaa... haha

Not for looks lah.. my friend is suspecting his B20B engine is bottlenecked by the intake manifold.. so he's wondering what those dragsters use.

Looking forward to those pics.. don't forget hattech!

ask gim to opt the ITB... hehe
for the pic, 1 pic i charge RM5... can?

Wah! Harga membunuh!!

Dunnolah.. thing is.. he already got the unichip engine management... and he wants the plenum thingy... I think 4 throttle is the way to go too, but the dragsters seem to have good sucess even without ITBs.

He's more result oriented, rather than theory oriented.. so I never bother to explain.

the ENDYN A.I.R manifold is for some serious honda collector. it will cost you between 6-8k with shipping and handling. You can get the same price for a brand new JUN intake plenum with 80MM TB. for your info, ENDYN is back just that they are staying low profile.
