We completely redesigned, the new gearset features interchangeable gear ratios. Now you can choose from 2 different gear ratios depending on the type of racing you do. Different motors require taller gears, while short track road racers require shorter gears. There is no need to purchase an entire gearset, just purchase the alternative ratio.
Other available options are:
Long ratio, short ratio, spool center differential (drag), 4-spider center differential (accepts factory viscous), dog 5th gear for complete race box chromemoly shift Forks 1-2 and 3-4.
We strongly recommend assembly being performed in house .
The gearset was designed to withstand 1000 ft lbs of torque. We have tested it up to 700ftlbs in our racecar.
The gearset will fit all transmission cases from 1989 to 1999. If you own a FWD we can modify an 4WD case to accept the FWD gearset. For FWD owners we can also provide you with a choice of three different final drive ratios depending on the tire size you wish to run.
Shift quality and speed of shifting is immensely improved, no more missed gears, lower quarter mile times and lap times.
Not recommended for daily driving street use, this is a racing transmission.
