daryl...

well not really lar...there are many other IHI turbos u can hybrid fer ur case...

since u didn't mention that u wanted to upgrade urs till now...

alot also depends on ur budget... ;)
by far the best bet fer B8 wud be the RHF6 ball bearing turbo taken from the BPD210....excellent turbo...and best part is...it fits perfectly well on B8 !!

try lookin fer this...

Battousai : U runnin B8 with VF10 ? Can share how u did your turbo instalation ? Bore the inlet / outlet ? Or exchanged it with the stock B8 turbo ?

Or better yet, can recommend which workshop to go for instalation ?

my friends eterna twin turbo use 2 vf10 turbos full spec but lag lag lag kau kau..
heheheh :) [/b][/quote]
Joshua, ur place can do this job ? how much would it cost ? Stock B8 180 wanna add in front mount intercooler, and VF10 turbo. Roughly how much huh ?

dun quote killer price ya................

hi dude,

below is the list of the turbo size start from small to large...

No IHI Code Car Model Turbine size
1. RHB5 VJ20 (B8180bhp) 5cm
2. RHB5 VF10 (Subaru legacy) 5cm
3. RHB5 VF8 (Subaru Legacy+WRX RS) 6.5cm
4. RHF5 VF22,23,24,28,29 (Subaru STI) B.B 6.5cm
5. RHF6 VJ23 (B8210bhp) B.B 7.5cm

sdf sifoo.

IHI RHF6-VJ23 from B8-210 bhp vs mitsubishi TD05H-16G(evo3 turbo)......which one better cfm and can give bigger bhp.and which one spool faster.

hihihihi...killer question...

can i try???

ermmmmm......

TD05 16G is my vote....

hihihihi...no bb oso spool macam gile...

:D killer question? but i dont want to kill anybody.

many people who want quick response, fast spool and not bad at high end power vote for mitsubishi TD05H-16G turbo.i think it really one of good oem turbo around.no wonder mmc still maintain this turbo from the beginning of evo family.if not mistaken evo5 above start applying titanium and twin scroll technology for qicker response.but it still in TD05H-16G family.

im not saying other turbo not good.i mean in the oem turbo category.so whatever, all oem parts have limit.that's why aftermarket performance parts available and the industry rapidly evolving.

rhf all is ball bearing.

for me i'll only go for IHI RHX6 n not RHF6

B.B is always spool faster. but TD05 is long lasting even is running high boost.
