my fius for my amp near the battery gave way so i change it but not the same reading..
the old reading for the fius is 5AG40A and my new wan i replace with 5AG60A..
i just wanna know if is it alrite to change the 5AG60A fius?
usually the fuse near the battery value = total of all the fuses on your amps. so if u have 2 amps with 20A fuse on each, then u can fit a 40A fuse near the batt. what happens now if u put 60A u will allow extra surge of current directly to the amp and rely on the amp fuse to stop the surge, instead of stopping it immediately after the battery. so actually u wont see anything happening at all if u add a larger fuse, just that it defeats the purpose oledi la...
So you are talking about fius.. Anyway bigger rating not means that is better. First you must know what cause the fius blow. Sometimes maybe is because the fius size is small and overheated then it burn. You have to check first, in the mean time use back the same rating first 40A and see what will happen, if still burn then is the wiring problem...
i believe the front 5AG is for the gauge of the wire and 60A means 60 ampere. Bigger amperage does not mean better like someone mentioned. Depends on ur power consumption required. If u use 60A for 1 small amp, the amp might blow before the fuse would.
Has anyone tried this tire before? Any good? Say compare to 003, it might be diff class. Previously i wanted to give 003 a try but i have been offered for this tire..so any review?:hmmmm:
