Here’s an unfortunate find. Remember the destruction of Saddam Hussein’s epic car collection, many of which included the destruction of a Porsche 993 Turbo S, an extremely rare Lamborghini LM002 SUV and supposedly a Mercedes-Benz 500K worth more than millions? Well this one is a little something like that.
A journalist stumbled upon a Ferrari Enzo rotting away in the desert of Dubai. Supposedly, the reason as to why cars like these end up sitting in the dust are from entrepreneurs who returned home after their business or real estate ventures failed.
It was said to have been found in a police impound, which means that the car will most likely be auctioned off and sent to a new owner who could fix it up. But they’d better have some deep pockets and lots of cash to spend because the Enzo is sitting in a part of the world where exterior temperatures often exceed 115 degrees F.

Only 399 Enzos have been officially sold to the public. With already a considerable amount of them dead from careless actions of their owners, the Ferrari Enzo could slowly be disappearing off of the face of the Earth.

DAMN!

sigh...what a waste...interior and exterior must have terribly damaged by the extensive heat!

million dollar rottting in th sun.. maybe someday we can see it in malaysia as a halfcut for mr2-ferrari wanabe.. heheh :burnout:

yup. agreed. can half cut to putra or other coupe since i saw some has r34 rear....haha

Disrespect.

Dare to buy an Enzo but couldn't care less of transferring the ownership proper via sale etc.

Leased?

Leaving so sudden? Commit fraud/crime or what?

yup..if business venture failed or so...sell this baby off...and get some cash back...why left it to rot...sigh

The reason of this happening is that Dubai have a stupid law that locks people up if they are in debt. So many of the expatraties just park their cars at the airport as if they are going on a holiday and never come back. During 2009 you can see the car park at the airport full of these abandoned cars.

DAMN!

pity a masterpiece like this left rotten in the sun...

There were 3000 cars left at the Dubai airport at one time. expatriates make up most of the population in UAE, and when business failed, they left the country as simple as that, leaving the emirates deep in debts. remember what happened to Burj Dubai?

sorry guys..i just dont have the time to wash my car.. you guys spot me everywherelah..

sigh..............my wet dream car.......... i'll find any kind of shade to park my cheap car at any given time and when i'm back its in the porch.....its a sad sight i'm almost in tears:bawling:
