the hub is enclosed. It's hot in there when braking.i wonder whether i can drill the holes there to let the hot air come out

i dun think its a good idea tho...mayb when it gets too hot then it'll crack?
i dunno...just my 2cent coz sum1 told me not 2 drill my standard front disc...

hmm

not suitable, what if some sand go in, can't come out?

the only way i know to cool drum brakes, are to have cooling fins.

Water and sand goes in, your won't be able to brake for shit.

and ur disc will not be flat, for sure ur brake pads habis in few days.

his talking about rear drum brakes...

i'm using front gsr disn cross drilled but my disc still flat n my brake pad has serve me near 1 year

Unlce Fred,

No disc inside durm brake.

Leading and traiiling brake shoes depress against the inner linning of the drums to create friction.

If you drill holes on the drums, you are asking for trouble.

oh yeah hor...ahahahahaha never see the topic properly muahahahahahaa

Don't get into trouble, just go find yourself a set of rear disc
brake and then you can do it yourself.

For sure it can be done..
About the idea.. well, I guess.... better think again.
