Diy : Air Twister - Swirl The Air !

put the fan blades before the throttle butterfly..

but leave enough space for the butterfly to open and close.

hahaha..
i did this method..
hopefully it'll work...
hehehe...
:D
Have tried this method...aluminium too soft.

JL!!! what if u get the fan to spin instead? dont think about the 'how to' first la, just the idea of it spinning. good idea? or will it make it too turbulent/obstructive?

spinning the fan?

hmm.. then the air wont be so twisted..
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
gotta think bout it somemore

i dont mean connecting it to the batt or something...just letting it spin la...meaning you'll need the whole assy. not just the blades. just think about it la...not about how to do...hehe! otherwise there are pc fans that are round and not square...maybe we can find one that will fit?

nah,

methinks la, the air will be too restricted..

although the air will now be concentrated along the sides of the pipe/throttle body

erm... how abt if we let it batt operated then let the fan spin.. =p then it will be like forced air induction thingie..

I don't think the fan will be so powerful to do that. Those 8cm fan can't even cool my CPU. Those 12cm ones are way much better, but it's too big for the air twister thing.

hahahaah that's right Jasper..... maybe just enuff to cool your dash board gauges??? :D

i don't think a cpu fan can spin fast enough to make a forced induction effect.

and the fan isn't used as an inductor, but rather the SLANT of the blades is used to create a swirling effect , from what i noted.

Wayward

oohh.. yeah didnt tot of it.. hehe.. =p

eh JL u can help me DIY my car anot ?? =)

does this air twisting technology work on turbo cars as well?

JL

if u wan to DIY the car call me..do it together so that no need to waste u time..let me know..now i just need the fan nia(looking for two)
