4g93 Tuning on the siemens VDO

hi, I have a 272 cam on my SGTI running on Siemens VDO. As I know, you can't reflash the Siemens VDO.
I have been asked to changed all the wirings to MMC, including throttle body plus cam sensor.
Are there any cheaper alternatives?
4g93 with the 272 cams running very rich!
A friend has suggested Microtech!

The reason why your engine is running rich @ idle with the racing camshafts because the vacuum is now lower compared to stock cams. I think Siemens VDO ECU can be reflashed using ECUTEK. Maybe you can drop by N1 Racing and check with them. Otherwise if your budget permits you can consider Microtech LT10s or Haltech Sprint 500. They are fully programmable and the possibilities are virtually limitless depending on tuner creativity.

Thanks for your quick reply. ECUTEK, I am pretty familiar with this as I used to own a Subaru before converting my SGTI for track work. I will call N1 to see whether he is familiar with Siemens VDO. But my tuner friends all say Siemens VDO is not able to tune or reflash!

Change all your wayering system to Microtech LT10s or Haltech Sprint 500, even tough quite expensive but it's still affordable and efficeint, not "pening kepala" compare other methods, easy for tuning also..:proud:

Later can to put another performance items and it should be no problem bro!
