On other news, Kimi was fastest at Monza.

Who was it that said Kimi was cruising behind Schumacher ? Could it be that Kimi held back as a sort of welcome gift to his new team? ;)
si|verfish, he just give me that kind of impression.
Well, I believe Ron Dennis will have that kind of thinking.

both Alonso and MSC is very much the same person when talking about winning... Alonso is more like MSC in his early years...although not playing as dirty though... but a lot of anger in his driving...

MSC might have did a lot of irreversile things that are not so well to be remembered by... but that is what made him what he is today... if Senna had not done the same would he be regarded as what he is today? and Senna was the first one who brought in the "Win at all cost" mentality...Senna went even further by applying the "win at all cost" even on his own teammate Prost during their McLaren years...

i remember this...Senna slam the back of Prost to make sure Prost doesn't get the point to steal Champion from himself..rite?'win at all cost' telemetry shows that Senna purposely slam the car coz it shows that Senna didn't brake at all!
but if i remember well, i think both of them not ngam rite??

that is racing.... either u win or u lose....so they made sure that they wan to win it at all cost.... MSC had a better anger management then ALonso.... as u can see Alonso always give the middle finger when he is delay by the back markers but since both the back markers are fighting for position lo...

haha... anger yes.. middle finger i don't think so lar... maybe show those backmarkers the fist or something like that lar...he really has a short fuse... especially people is closing in on him...

maybe he got used to the feeling of being chase by kimi last year... whenever Kimi is within 10secs of Alonso and his car would unexpectedly have some failures...hahaahah

The rivalry between Senna and Prost was the most bitter rivalry in Formula 1 history. The best part about their rivalry was that they were both teammates going for the championship. Most of the best drivers in Formula 1 do not have good records. It is their bad records that made them what they are.

Not really. How many can you list?

From what I've heard of the olden days, drivers were proper gentlemen who are extremely sporting.

I've always felt that modern day racing is a lot more cynical. Probably because it is such a lucrative sport nowadays.

si|verfish, what interested me is the real reason behind that makes Flavio make the "U"-turn and said that his earlier statement has been misunderstood?

Can it because Flavio realise that he shouldn't protect Alonso who "betrayed" him and sign the sudden deal with Ron Dennis in the beginning of the season?

Senna was actually trying to revenge Prost for the incident that happened the previous year... Japan GP i believe...

isn't it a bit too late to realize that he was "betrayed"???
