Primacy LC ok huh? Last round I asked in Jan'12 it was expensive, at about 30bucks cheaper than PS3 only, 215/45/17.

PLC mid range only. I think stop already as seldom see them anymore. RM30 difference might as well get PS3, or for 215/45R17 many many choices......

but primacy lc is an eol model...how come they still offering it for sale?

it was an ok tyre. NVH was good and wet performance was ok. emergency avoidance of sudden cone appearing on hiway caused it to squeel slightly but no loss of grip. PS3 is a better tyre tho. loosing slightly in terms of NVH harshness.

VR2turbo...everyday straight line...hit water patch no rasa la. hydroplane oso still straight line haha

The pair of PS3 is bald but I feel it is still 'very' quiet, surprisingly. Maybe this is the first time I use low noise tyre?

Primacy LC is premium touring tyres so mid level in comfort performance. Made for quiet comfort ride with a little performance. Same class as Toyo C1-S, BS GR-90 and GY Efficient Grip that is why NVH is better then PS3 which is upper UHP category.
You hit water patch, front is PS3 mah! Trailing behind usually not felt......

Noise level differ from person to person, car to car also, so can varies.....:driver:

Hit wet patch still can....

When he hit wet patch, car not moving, just him and the mini skirt passenger moving in the car.

I concur, PS3 is rather quiet although its wearing down. My old MIJ Revspec 2 was not as pleasant when wearing down. Now I worry that the GY F1 D5 is rather noisy from general feedback.. haih. Takkan downgrade to XM2.. PS3 look uncle, XM2 look like grandfather with tongkat.

I support ixeo's comment regarding the peeling. so far 2 other tyreman have told me this is a common issue when the tyre comes closer to the 20% mark and depends on tyre usage. this makes 4 seperate tyreman who have confirmed this is the norm.

Ixeo...if u can still get the PS3 at rm260...yr damn lucky or you're spitting those stones at his balls. cheapest i could source was at rm280 a month ago. same shop quoted me rm250 for a pc of F1D5

PS3 - 320 TW rating
F1D5 - 300 TW rating

but looks wise...F1D5 looks more garang with it's straight angle walls and V shaped thread...the PS3 sort of looks like old uncle tyres haha

like vr2turbo mentioned, mine is 195/50 R15..so I am quite sure I can get it for RM260. but I haven't ask yet. will probably spit stones at the tyre man to get my price. haha.

195/50R15 is cheaper then 195/55R15

lol . PS3 has uncle look but very potent and like 20s' performance.

vr2, refer to the tyre price list thread, ban hooi klang sells PS3 215/45/17 for RM470 only? Unbelievable.

I m hoping it won't peel off again like my previous set...

Was quoted RM300 - RM320/tire in Mentakab a week ago.

Did something silly, tried my luck in a shop in Kote Dsara days ago, this particular shop mostly do high profile cars like horse, bull, shield.. I still walk in and ask..
Le me: hey, got Melicin ps3?
Le worker: what size?
Le me: 195/55/15
Le worker: er.. need to order wo..
Le me quietly sneak away without no one knowing.. paised, size too small dare to ask some more.

Am surprise they do not have this common size. Seen a few shops in Sunway who does 19 & 20" rims and tyre but still cater for original Myvi size of 14"......:driver:

Anyone who wants a good buy of tyres, is wise to visit ENEOS now. Saw some good prices for Falken ZE912 and also GT Radial Eco up to 16" also RM200+ per piece only. Conclusion, good price I would say...

Wanted to note down the prices but some ENEOS personnel seems to be eyeing on me already haha!

**but i need to redo the balancing, service very poor. :banghead:
Better buy the tires only and fit at your trusted workshop.

Falken 912 quality quite crap..especially in wet. A far cry from PS3.
