Kaninia, this remind me how a big carbon chunk fell off and caused a deep scratch on my ex-Autoexe engine side housing :mad::mad::mad::mad::mad: try at your own risk :adore:
 
i have done this in the past. I however did not use wd40. It actually improves throttle response, at least it did for me.
 
been there done that....
it was few weeks back.... the pulse note of my car sounds more obvious after that treatment... but i use like 2~3 litre of water only.... i can't see a single water drop coming out of my exhaust.. imagine how hot is it in there....
i heard decarbonizer works better.....
 
Actually this method has been used on FCs for awhile. If you hit up the rx7club forum, they use this method to clear out the carbon deposits sorta like steam cleaning :p you can look at the linky below :P
