will there ever be a track day for skyline owners? anyone? maybe tan chong motors should get involved

I will be organizing a track day once my car is out (in April probably) sepang will be closed for F1 anyway.

So be patient and make sure you guys attend once the date is set.
Tentatively, in April 2006.

they will have a open track day in sepang in JUNE. anyone here going to join? i went for the last 2 weeks (april 8th) open track day organiced by HPC, it was quite fun.....:regular_smile: mayb will going again in JUNE.....

Hey Skyline owners, lets organize a track day sometime between 20th Oct to 10th Nov... all interested pls list down ur name & suggested date. We can share the cost to book & pay for the Sepang Track. Any ride welcome, from old Datsun Skyline to R34 Z-tune... Need to also find out booking details etc, we can invite Tom to take pix & feature the event on ZTH. What do u say?

Firstly, I would like to express my sympathy for Richard Hammond & his family, and hope he recovers soon...
Secondly, if this Skyline trackday becomes a reality, should we organise it on a weekend or weekday? Well, hopefully weekend so more people can attend, and does anyone know if Sepang is normally fully booked on weekends?

Dritmeister: My GTR is nothing compared to Quickfire lah... he has surely done something extra to his engine, as the sound is totaly unique... Ive heard K3nny's GTR is super fast as well.. but most of us are running stock engine & turbo's, will be good to see some super souped up GTRs make Kanchils of all of us. My car maybe faster than urs, but I think with your racing background, u should be able to lead the pack with ur GTT!!!
Gooberpizzabuns, pls ask ur dad, Mr. Meor to bring his Midnight purple edition GTR, that car was super quick up Genting as well!! I wanna get some video of that beast on the track during the daytime, superb colour...
Hope the event gets a good turn-out & everyone goes home safe & happy.

Looks like the last day for an open trackday for this year is on the 15th of October, the day before I get back to Malaysia.. :(

Guys, looks like Sepang will be open on most sundays, 2-5pm, RM150 per car.
There will also be one on 22/10/2006 after I get back, so i think I will definately go burn some rubber on the 22nd. Other info are as follows:
i) Track day for Club is RM300.00 per 3 Hours.
ii) Whole day rental price is RM45K.
Any other skylines who can make it on the 22nd (Sunday), for 'trial-run' just to test the Sepang circuit, please get in touch. Maybe we can organise an even for the whole day if the turn out is good.
