Toyota did very well in F1.. just need to give them some time.. they still 'noob' ma.. :p but i'm sure they can beat Ferrari or Renault or Mclaren 1 day.. :)
and that's a nice rally car!
Toyota rules!

oh man..the car looks hot! small, should be agile as the citroen's as long as the chassis and suspension is up to it..and the esso sponsorship! ekekekeke...put a tiger in your tank!!!

if a company throws 1 billion dollars at a sport, it damn well better be performing :p. Even then, it's Gascoigne's work that has gotten them to where they are now since the last aero people were incompetant :p. I still think it took them too long to get to where they are in F1 since they spent ALOT of money on it.

And it would make sense they'd finally step to the plate in WRC, since I was beginning to be worried that next season was going to be crappy. This is Peugeot & Citroen's final season in WRC, so I was fearing we'd have another Scooby dominated run if Mitsu STILL can't get their act together :p.

Though screw all this, all I want to know is... where is Sebastian Loeb driving next season? :P

As toyota mentioned earlier on this season of F1, if the team still doesnt improve, they will pull out frm F1. If i was not wrong, Toyota has announced that will not be in IRL on next year onwards. If toyota to be back in Rally, that would be the best

waa... been waiting for years and years ... welcome back toyota!!!

AAAH this is the kind of news that cheer up my day!

And what a lovely Corolla it is hahahahhaa.

Proud to drive a TOYOTA!

Toyota will pull out from F1 if they fail to get a podium position this year. Now that had happened, probably Toyota F1 will stay a bit longer. The reason they withdrew from WRC is that they know WRC title is within easy reach, F1 would be a big challenge for them. anyway, would like to see a factory Toyota in WRC again. :D

Who's gonna build, run, and maintain the cars and teams? Since TTE is heavily geared and involved with the F1 program at the moment.

if the story's true...then it's gonna be FUN again..currently with all those in WRC are juz too plain...:D

welcome back Toyota! They may giv rival to Citroen n Peugeot in WRC!

Citroen & Peugeot will be pulling out of WRC next year, so Toyota can only fight with Scooby, Evo, Ford & Skoda for manufacturer's title not the dominant Xsara. This car may donimate WRC like the small 206 WRC. Looks nice. Hope to see Suzuki enter a full WRC Swift instead of the Super 1600!

They are using the Runx chassis is it? will this be the revival of the Levin n Trueno line? Finally a worthy successor to the AE86.

I still dont get untill today why toyota have two identical cars with with different names anyway? And they are sold both in JApan.

It is call aggresive marketing..something Proton has yet to learn.

That's one of the thing unique about Toyota. Identical? on the subframe yes, but Corolla Levin and Sprinter Trueno are two separate personality and make-up - and both of them loved soo much by Toyota enthusiats. Just like Vitz and Yaris.

Levin & Trueno never really ceased, so does 4A-GE, they merely evolved into something new and fresh - Like the Corolla 2ZZ-GE Hatchback that is available in the UK now.

And the ones that we see above (that Rally beast), is just another potent offering from the evergreen Corolla lineage.

EFN,
Care to elaborate more on the Levin n Trueno? Yaris i think is the european version of vitz. What does the difference personality on the Levin n Trueno?

not much different, only the headlight and taillamp... they share same chasis
