hello guys !!

I wanna share some of my problems here ..
I have a 99' Honda CR-V with original black tinted glass(not film)
I've seen many of the JDM's having this glasses on .. but the JPJ claims that it's not legal to use these glasses ..

My question is, if it's not legal why should they approve the car when it comes from Japan ?! ITS RIDICULOUS !! isn't it ? :hmmmm:

Some importers change to clear glass for JPJ approval, then change back.
My company bought a JDM MPV last time, the importer gave us one set clear glass windscreen then told us use whichever we want but did mention that the black tint one is illegal therefore they will not be responsible for any summons....

Just a fxxk X way they dig our money, if u have a VIP badge infront they will just let u go.

JPJ is not responsible for the approval of the imports of cars... and wat they are fitted with.

just like how JPJ are not responsible for the approval of loud mufflers, blinking lights, aftermarket HIDs. etc etc.

they just set a guideline that ur supposed to follow... u dont follow u suffer the consequences. simple as that

what u have to do to follow those guidelines is up to u... that includes changing the glass to clear glass etc

My friend's friend got doctor's letter say skin problem, cannot direct bright sunlight. With letter apply for permit.....

Anyone know where to get evo8 rear passenger glasses? Need to look for a clear wan to do inspection.

Used car dealer quoted me 650 for that, not sure if it is reasonable or not.

Please advice. Tq

Hadi17,
Even you get the exemption from the clinic,
JPJ required from medical report from Government Hospital.
Then to be renew from time to time.

Just change the glass, it would make you life easier.
Oder non privacy glass type from Japan/SG.

victor87,
The price to rent the rear glass for inspection is about that range.
I think you've completed the inspection.

Bad tinting experiance today at Raytech Tinting puchong.

Dont know what they did and causing my brake light faulty. Didnt press the brake but the light keep ON.

ask them what happen Tai Chi me to check with Kia SC because my brake switch got problem. Not their fault. No choice I have to immediately drove to Kia SC for checking. they cant figure out what happen and advice me come on Monday for full cehcking as already 6PM saturday now. So i drove home my car with brake light on ALL THE WAY. And have to unplug brake fuse to not drain my car battery when over night.

I try to un-plug & re-plug the brake light switch @ the brake pedal and problem still same. Appearantly not the brake switch problem. Suspect was the water from into dashboard and kena some wiring. Tomorrow try expose the car to sun see if can help.

PLease dont visit that shop anymore. Very angry now I am. Driving the car with brake light on ALL THE WAY HOME. how dangerous I am. Very very angry.

Raytech, puchong.
