Suzuki Swift Drive Shaft

My 1991 Suzuki Swift's drive shaft is making lots of noice and needs replacement. I am thinkin of using APM oem partsWas wondering if anyone have done a replacement and at what cost? Would like to verify if my mechanic's quote is reasonable. Really appreciate any advice. Thanks

hi bro, need to verified your model. g10a or g13b?
for swift, no need to change the whole drive shaft. normally its the CV joint.when changing it, need extra careful. rough & careless mech. would damage your inner joint.
price differ. g10a CV is around rm170-180 while g13b is rm200 above.
brand: NKN made in japan.

APM?? errr..lousy brand. frankly speak. the product reliability overcome thousand of Question. even at normal sedan car, it won't last long. for swift esp. gti fully loaded, the parts could fail in any time.

o i c.don't worried so much.a lot of spareparts shop probably have. last time i ask, its around rm180/pcs.change both left and right, you can use more than 5 years.its japan quality. BUT don't use bigger alloy rims.hehehe..std rim enough...you'll save a lot..
if i'm not forgotten, g10a has 23 teeth while g13b has 25t.:shades_smile:
