i dont think so that piping size of intercooler would be a prob. i used 3" from throttle body n 2.5 from front intercooler n turbo . 3" exzaust piping wif 3" Rsr exzaust at the back. so far x der masalah.

Ecu will cut engine power due to check codes. Most significant will be the knock sensor....power cut remendously to avoid any detonation.

I ve change new knock sensor but still code52 appear.. why arr ?:confused_smile:

have u discon the batt for 10 mins after installing new knock sensor ? if that already done and code52 still exists then it could be knock sensor circuit or ecu faulty

i think Ecu due of high boost. i m looking for st205 wiring.. couldnt find. i hv also blizt ecu for st185/mr2 sw 20 wanna let go.

i agree with u... thats why i hv prob with trottle body st205 so wide compare wif st185 thus cause a lag. hv to change to st185 trottle body to minimize the lag.

Toms.. u can use also power stering motor from st185.

yup with 185 rojak wirings... beware of high boost below 1 bar no prob.

i bought a 205 halfcut transplant into ST183......eng bay look nice....but dash part not soo nice.......slowly doing it up now........i never push all the way yet....can see from boost meter when i tekan the other day 4krpm boost 0.7 and can still go.....my ecu already modded from the halfcut

harris...put back the 60mm st205 TB ! if somebody hold ur nose when u breathe u not happy oso wan time to up boost !

I think it had something like Team Synchromesh decal ... ? Nice car but ruined by the wheels. Could have had some OZ Chrono 17" in matching colour ...

Actually spotted the car a few years back - could be back in 2002 (ya, ya I know it's history). Kinda caught my attention as you don't see that many C.Sainz, especially in white around. Looks like a pretty clean car. Ordinary wheels ... couldn't make out the model but sure it's not any race wheels like OZ Racing or Speedlines.

The guy sure knows to name his team; "Team Synchromesh" coz that model GT-4 is known to bust 2nd and 3rd synchoros all the time. After it's clutch and front wheel bearings as well (I know it too well). Spotted the car at Subang McD near Subang Parade.

There's a met maroon one for sale a few months back at one of the Sunway car traders. Selling for something lilke 45k. It's a FAKE! It's an ST-183, with a 3S-GTE (from a ST-205), Group A front bumper and hood. What a mongrel of a car ... Bares a N.Sembilan plate too ... (how could he disgrace the state I live???).
