Took my car this morning then straight away go back for hari raya. Really love the car but have some first day issues here.

1. I was locked inside my car and unable to open the driver door. Luckily I was able to open the passenger's door. Need to check with SC later.
2. The sound is very loud after 120km/h. I can't imagine how noisy it is after installing r3 extractor later.
3. The performance at mid RPM is quite "semput" for me. I expect more but most probably because of new born baby and yet to fix the r3 extractor.

But overall I still love my new baby. The car looks way better in reality than in photos. :D

2. Because this car sound proof/insulation very poor or dont have at all
3. Your engine still new, wait for after 1st and 2nd service you feel the diffrent, yes you feel it. . especially after installing new extractor.

PS: after install the extractor please check your exhaust system as mine was bit 'senget' ahaha proton proton (fix already) or you can ask R3 to install it but need some cash

Oh BTW, if i change the fender? would it void warranty?

Ahahaha, i though changing to lotus style fender for mine but post pone it or maybe will cancell it, since i think better keep it original because can found only imitation part for that because the original R3 lotus style fender cant fit well with the archwheell (even the arch was only addon to the fender) because Mr. Sur*** said the arch was too wide, if want can but add more $$$$ but then need to talk with Suh*** about that. . . so maybe not.

The good news is ill postpone installing adjustable (D2 adjustable as been recomended by Suh***) but then Sur*** said just wait another few month because R3 already develop they owned adjustable which develop with CUSCO, called "CUSCO for R3" ...(lol the name sux) ahaha.

Nonono i mean if proton install it then it would be free, if u want 'Premium' R3 installation then need to pay. I din't pay either in the 1st service.

So your HU is the latest alrady, then its should be ok because last time mine was MapkingPro GPS and i really hate it since i miss junction alot. BTW my build is #062

Some say he gets free body massages while waiting...and has massager installed in his headrest. Ha ha...sounded like top gear !
Anyways stuffx they got you the right spec head unit!
K69 jokes aside, I wouldn't modify the appearance other than wheels la bro or some decaling or ori r3 to personalize the car. If you overcook it then may look celup as this is based on a mass produced spec car after all.

got the car. NO82. ONE MAJOR PROBLEM SO FAR!!!one b**** cut me off while i was heaeding home after i took the car. like few minutes only. no indication nothing. just stard drifting to my lane. lucky she pulled out b4 crash. if she hit ma babe 15 mins after i got her......i think id get out, take the extractor out the boot and bash her bmw to pieces!!!

ahhh!!! now that ive got that out o the system.....

breaks a squeak a bit sometimes. havent exactly figured out when yet. and tiny scratch on the airbag cap on the steering wheel. told em b4 i took the car but everyones gone home. so il wait til 1st service or after raya and fix that.

bit worried about shopping mall carpark ramps as i come down with the spliter damn low.
need coil mats n darker windows.

other than that shes been awesome so far. havent really pushed her. most i did was 120.

K69 : I agreed with rkbella. Don't overdo to ur car appearance as the car might lost its exclusive look. People might think ur car is just an r3 wannabe car and not the real r3. However that's just my opinion

Chutti : luckily nothing happen to u and ur car. Yeah I'm a bit worried regarding the front splitter. We'll be in trouble to park at any carparks with ramps and bumps

Yeah watch the steeply angled especially if has dip ramps as the bottom can
Scrape and guess what it will take yr bumper with it!! The splitter
Is bolted on real tight. Don't worry abt the squeaks yet let her
Settle down first
The brakes need to be bedded that means fOr first 100kms or so Practise
Pumping Esp on the high temp pads. No biggie mines settled down nice
Hows the paint? You got the papago Gps?
If it stops raining I m going to install tweeters and alsoconsumer foot well area
LEDs. Too dark around the feet when I get in at night, as well as at the steering key insert area. Not a groper ... Like sikit sikit light !:flute::flute:

Satria's sound insulation is not good in the first place, thats why its loud at high speeds. Of course you can add more insulation to make it quiet. but it will only add weight.

Seriously, I prefer the car not to have any sound insulation at all.

Yup you guys where right about the exterior. Im not going go to change anything.. before this It just suddenly pop into my mind (well kid got new toys!).

Oh the car really dark inside, i cant even see my foot while driving... Well i dont really care actualy, it only make me headache especially when my lighter fall off when im driving.... need to stop and open the light to search for it.

Hei rkbella33 how much you pay for extractor installation? I though it was free coz mine is.

PS: to you guys, PLEASE AVOID SPINNING TYPE off pillar (i dont know what it call). Well the one spinning all around, we cant get through it. Avoid Genting basement parking and Sunway Pyramid circle pillar (to go upside and down). Well bassicly avoid that.

My splitter already have alot of sracthes, but dont worry it was build for that (including the downforce thing). It better we scratch the splinter then break the bumber right?

no not had the problem with the rattling yet. maybe i havent floored it enough yet. hahaha

just got back from a drive. 5th to 4th gear seems hard to get in to.?5th put into 3rd holding the clutch back to 4th is fine. whats up here? is it somin rong with me? do i need to go to driving school again?

breaks stil squeaking as i slow down. hoping that goes away soon.

Just back .. the audio shop was jam packed! So ditched plans for monday and bought autoglym alloy wheel seal. Love this product help keep wheels clean.

For me sometimes getting to 4 was a bit notchy but getting better...just double declutch and pop it in. Especially first 500kms gear 2 was also popping out. Now no more
He he if you were on auto sometime then getting manual will throw some surprises, I guess. Driving school? Haven't seen you driving yet ha ha

I got it!!!! wahahaha i though i was the only one, i heard some rattling when idling and when floor the pedal down down below~ .
I detect the cause of this already and there might be more than one possibilities, for me there something that was unpin and one of the wire/hose i dont know (black thing) rattling especially when idling. Already complain about it, and they already set an appointment for my car after Raya.

Well i need to let go my car for awhile about 2~3 days due to :

1. solve rattling sound
2. New paint (hood+fender+front bumber) ask them to double coating it!!!
3. New arch wheel screw as mine got white thingy and some rusty
4. Open the gearbox console to that they can lubricant and make some adjustment to it was sooo hard especially from gear 1 to 2

Then will the plate holder and go SeiraGlow for detailing and coating!!!

Just normal eco-tint. Dont know about the UV IR rating on the stock one but i can say it not that good because it kinda hot inside. Its not security tint if im not mistaken. but again we well go for tint our car again...

Ha ha k69...super connected dude !good for you. my bonnet already has 3 chip points..the bumpers to those like driving fast is glass fibre not pu...so can expect a loooooooooot of chips.

I had mine autoglym detailed for around 300. Been a regular there many years. Car is now super smooth glossy and so easy to wash! Now how to teach my cat not to climb on the r3.

I think th black thing they were referring is the air con hose. Anyway I got to take a longer peep under the dash...oh yeah I like peeping under the DASH

The tint by Eco tint...do a google. Not too bad actually.
Chutti- you can double laminate the tint...not the front though as it will have double reflection at night and can b bad in rain

The ecotint that we get is security tint film. I read this in our R3 manual book and ecotint warranty card. If the manual book lies then I lie to all of u too haha
