Would like to buy a weekend track toy , and am contemplating to source for a evo 6 convert.

Since I do not have any experience or knowledge behind getting a convert would like to know the advise of...
turbo leaking or not??
plz help me. my car, when boost goes to 0.05bar, got some sound like air leaking from my engine. until boost 0.6bar, when change gear, bov dont have any sound. my idle is ok. why why why??
