Hey guys, I think I might have to get a Wira 1.5 SE Manual soon. How's the car? Ok or not? Tyres 205/45/R16 right? too big for the car or not? pickup fast or not? suspension good or not?

what's the top speed you can reach with this car? 200 cannot right? hahahaha.

what else errm... I heard the newer ones don't come with rear disc brakes already? :( so sad la

what kinda steering/gear lock does it come with? what alarm system?

first, the rim is heavy...
pickup slower... suspension wise is good for the car
i only tried up to 160km/h (complete stock)
no more rear disc brakes
no steering lock
stock basic alarm system B)

ya no rear disc break...so cham...

16'..hahah damn biglah but handling better than wira 1.5...wf its wise suspension..

summore like 8bhp more than normal 1.5...

anyway, the worst is using SIEMENS VDO... :(

WiSE is nice, but dun get the GT wing ler.. damn ah beng  ( no offense to those who has ) overall, nice car, i almost got it as well.. but taste changed and got another car.  i would change to 15" and get adjustables. Better pickup better stability!

cheers!

yeap..true...i already changed to 15", then the suspension seem not suitable...so..what should i do hah?

did u guys notice actually the SE is rather low? damn..always kena the bullet below going over bumps

change to lowered coils or adjustables like i did. Low? mine is super low, 1 finger front and back.. 15" is better ler, lighter, better pickup, tires are relatively cheaper... compared to 16"

lowered coils and adjustables? how much would it cost?

anywya..i'm using the car for normal daily usage

me also wat, i drive to college and back most of the time. Just by changing the coils, u will have the lowered look + better stability compared to stock. Not too expensive la, say rm400-600 can get not bad ones. If ur talking about adjustables, its alot different. It'll cost u abt 1400-1600 for APM or HWL. Stability wise, is of course better as its stiffer, but even more bumpy, and the plus side is, u can adjust it HI or LOW where else by just changing coils, u cant.
wah like essay.. =.="

yes WIra SE is a good car....b4 year 2005,hehhe but now jut like normal wira car..using 1.5 suspension, 1.5 brake system, normal TB, still with the big foot.
what else....!!

other then this i thing you know lar..normally wira with face lift.

wow...1.4k ~ 1.6k....

stable but bumpy? what for la...i will feel pening inside my car la....

no other solution?

Xamax .. ur springs r for 16inch ma... so u change to 15 inch of course lagi low la.. hehehe.. dun shoot me if im wrong ah..

solution... u can ask stanley... ehehhehe

Hey guys is the WiSE really that bad in terms of pickup with the stock 16inch? But the tyres, 205/45/R16 right? expensive la...
But with stock tyres the high speed handling should be very good right? coz the tyres so wide.

what can I mod to make the car faster? TB?

How much to change rear drum brakes to discs?

if you wan your car tobe fast but maintain stock...i think change back to WISE original TB that is 1.6 tb, or go to pwerzone to solve your problem.!!! .....

IF you change the stock to lower spring but didn`t change to absorber to short stoke absober, you will get this bumpy result......

if you change short stoke abs with lower sport spring, bumpy will not so obvious..

try stanley SLK.....is a super duper hard titan inside..

when u change wira se from 16 to 15, look cheap lah.

16" nice. Just change the rim to taiwan rims. Half the weight of the ori rims. Now in the process of upgrading the braking system.

16" JRD rim comes with WiSE very heavy. Suffer in pickup. Of course the tyres are more expensive than 15".
For stock tyres, if i'm not mistaken, either you get Goodyear or Silverstone. Mine is Silverstone. For dry road, grip is good. However, for wet road, less grip...prone to tire lockup if press brake harder.
Stock WiSE handling is consider good.
You can remove the catalytic converter and change to performance air filter to increase the performance by little bit.
Don't know the price of upgrading rear drum to disc... :P
