Opinion on Different Standalone ECUs.

Yeah, I wanted to stay stock. But I keep getting reprogrammed by my friend, this forum, Sunway, car mags, DDgreystar's car...

Ok, I've been thinking also, spend money on ECU, might as well get one that can be tuned for my needs. Also 2nd hand PFC not so expensive anyway. Maybe wait for Vpro to drop a little more?

My mechanic told me just now I got to deal with my brakes first. The rotors and pads must be changed soon. Damd.

DD slowboy car la.....u aint seeing nothing yet when those >98 db exhaust sound raging around in sunway bro......

beware of vpro out there....vpro is version SPECIFIC.....only latest version worth the bigger buck....anything older usually considered at bargain price, i got to know somebody had a brand new vpro older version for only 2k !!!!...n when dealing with ECU...makes sure it aint LOCKED...

btw....rotors n pads r important.....stay clear away from EBC....they crack !!!

fine tune yur engine rather than oem ecu setting for standard engine.

oem ecu will run rich while aftermarket run abit lean and it will free up some horsepower.

it can be custom setting according to yur engine specification.

Yeah, break system is very very important to performance car like Evos... Besides tyres, its de system tht help u stop in time if under any emergency situation... Do consider what kinda hp u r aiming for ur car (assume tht u gonna install an ECU n other performance parts onto ur car), then u upgrade de break system accordingly... Since u r gonna do it b4 u install an ECU n others, might as well u upgrade it properly so tht it save u hassles in de future...

hi guy ..with my opinion...if ur got a stock engine ..just add the afc neo..for fine tune ...that is very good piggy bag at the market...n save bug.....laa...u can feel the power after tune up..up boost to 1.2 bar ...think will get 3xx hp ...n more touge too. that still safe 4 de engine ....haha that my opinion...
