(I posted this in the 4G93T thread a while ago n this is the continuation)
I just got my GSR (TD05+Evo3 injectors) car. But I just encountered a problem. I was boosting fine a while ago. Then suddenly I couldnt boost anymore.
I was on the highway from JB to KL. boosting was fine then.
As soon i reached the toll near Sg Besi, I couldnt boost anymore. The boost meter only showed vacum and wont hit the 0 bar level even after i rev past 4k rpm. Basically my car just turned NA! :frown:
What was wrong?? some sed loose hose/connection? BOV problem?
Anyway, I went to a shop near my office. They sed my turbo wasn't spinning properly (something abt minyak tak jalan near the fins i think). That was the cause of my NA incident.
They said they repaired it but will need to properly service it to make it run properly for a long time (I could boost but the lag/slowness of the boost to build up was very very apparent).
They quoted rm700-rm800 and will need 3-5 days to 'service' my turbine. and if its 'bad' they MAY need to order some parts which will bring the bill up to 1k+++ just for the turbine.
I really need your advices. Should I put my newbie self in these guys hands? Can you guys help with a lower cost and guarenteed results? I'll give you guys a call tmrw morn k?
