are u using lancer dashboard + wiring or proton dashboard?
if lancer dashboard...then its plug and play....
if proton dashboard....just need to swap some of the wiring....coz proton wiring some are wired "terbalik"....just minor mod...wireman should know wat to do....
socket is compatible....dont worry...
