Lube Q

Hi guys

Can I use motor oil...lets say 20w-50 as an assembly lube?

What sort of assembly? engine oil doesn't stay on metal for too long and will dry up if not lubricated especially for moving parts.

Can use engine oil. I saw my mechanic do that too. Anyway when running it is lube by engine oil....

I saw on the net, they use motor oil or atf oil

I'll go with 20-50 motor oil then

Header not too much to lube. Valve stem, cam, rockers and bearings.
