Message: <blockquote data-quote="GT3" data-source="post: 904354" data-attributes="member: 10183">haha.. seems i get u work up..anyway let me counter ur facts.. shall we?abt what pat n alonso says.. as far as i m concern they been always saying that after they lost a race.. in fact i always read from their official press release that they claim they are not far from mclaren in terms of pace? so what do u expect them to say? our car is shit and mclaren is miles better? i don think so.. its PR term (f1 nowadays are PR like it anot) even though there is some version of truth in it.. not to say i know better but then honestly u don look at 1 lap diff my fren.. its RACE PACE that matters during a race.. alonso might be jus 0.00 something slower than kimi in terms of fastest lap but the race race of renault was inferior to mclaren espeacially when both mclaren or renault is under the same heavy fuel load.. admit it.. mclaren are better in terms of race pace almost in evry condition as compare to renault.. fact that alonso could be so close to kimi in a car that is supposing slower (look at fisi) proves he done a great n brilliat job1 lap worth of fuel is 0.3 sec if i m not wrong.. so again we come back to the same thing.. fact is kimi wont be more than 1 secs faster than alonso in the same car right do u agree? so say if he hav 4 to 5 laps more fuel than alonso means he been lapping the same pace as the renault means how much advantage the car hav.. n its not only this race. last time i checked mclaren always able to put in more fuel in their qualifying n still qualified great becoz of the car advantage they hav.. shorter gear like it anot is what he chose.. don only focus on the bad side.. he may hv chose it so he would hav a better accelaration? u wont know how much help it been in terms of traction but every1 will know how much damage it is in terms of top speed (of coz this is jus my opinion.. doubt u will listen to it)</blockquote>
