Is the police Have the right???

I was parking my car in a parking space, me and my friend was hanging out there. It was 4.30am in the morning, Suddenly a police car (Peronda) and stop in front my car...

He ask IC from me and my friend, and asking what we doing here early in the morning... than we said we just hang out... This is not wrong i know...

But 1 of the police check my car out... than he said my tire is out (Botak).. Than he summon me the is tire out....

Is police have the right to summon me for this???
If i got stop when driving than they can do that... but this my car is parking only..

Just wanna know from your guys if the police have the right to summon me like this.... i haven't pay the summon yet coz if the police dont have the right to summon this way i'm going to complain in police station...:angry_smile: :angry_smile: :angry_smile: :angry_smile: :angry_smile:

tyre Botak can summon....u wil get summon at roadblock oso for tyre Botak if they stopped u...

its ok for them to be suspicious. its good too if they do checking early in the morning. coz usually around this time got house break in or car stolens. looks like theyre doing thier work now.. at leat for that area...

wah like that also can saman huh...tyre botak saman ermmmmm how many percent u got la 15% ...if 30% cannot see one its botak....they got rights to check ur car or summon if they are in uniform....if not ask them to fuck off dont touch ur car...

.tell them u know the law too...because so many fucking police fellows without uniform stops u or ask for IC...just dont stop ur car or ignore them...because they only wear unformal if they are in mufti...mufti means they got thing to check on not us....so dont bother...because so many cases happen specially to women...they are not police but ask for ICand so on...at last end up rape, robbery and so on...

last week i got once in my mechanic shop...1 fellow ask for IC..i told him for what...he said he police, then i said "so what"...i ask him to show his card....their card also like shitla...not proper...koyak sana sini...then i said i dont trust u police...then he show me his piston and explain to me nicely that he is on mufti because suspect drug in that place....wah first so rough asking IC, then he knows i got rights to ask so, change to nice policeman pula....

Excalibur, sorry to tell you that police do have the rights to do that. They can even fine you if your 3rd brake light is not working, dirty number plate and the list goes on.

actually it's the same overseas. cops questioned what my friends and i were up to when we stopped at a vacant parking lot in perth. it's for security reasons lah and therefore i personally feel it's a good thing. i wouldn't want 5 blokes hanging around my house for no reason.

Sh!ts, almost all malaysian car is 5 seater. Just hope that your car wont brake down with full on board. Later being cought because of ilegal gathering.

But botak tyres, I'd say they should just shut the fuck up because there isn't even a gauge to measure what "BOTAK TYRE" really means. How did they measure? Pull out one of the lanjiao hair, measure it to 5 cm, then straighten the hair with gel, then put it against the thread of your tyre? So if your tyre thread is not as thick as their pig lanjiao hair, then it means botak? These idiots can't get bribe anymore. So they'll look for other ways to give summons. Who really knows. Maybe they have a "commission system" now whereby whichever pig cop gives the most summon will have higher commission.

Like mentioned by BlackSamurai, talking about third brake lights. I don't know whether they are fook up just to save some money being kiam siap or what. Without third brake light is no big deal, there are still rear lights to indicate when the driver step onto the brake, but the worse case is, all third brake light and rear lights are not working. Go and fook a cow lare.

But my car is just parking only. didnt move. i can just park my car they for how long i want, coz that is parking lot. let say my car brake down. they (police) dont let me that i can just walk home... if they catch me on block or they see me driving than is ok coz that we know they have the right...

Yes they can summon u for botak, no brake light or ...... but as long the engine not start and is park at proper place they have no right to summon ......

Actually u can take out ur number plate, road tax or wharever when ur car is no moving ........ yes they can question you but they need a warrant or Inspector (the person who take responsibility if they found nothing) to check you car ....

Just go to court n fight for it ....
when question just tell them the car is not moving for 3 month .....
