hye all,i hope someone can explain this.

im using satria and yesterday i change my brake pad by myself(D.I.Y),
after all complete,i test the car to do the bedding-in.(rataan lapisan :D )
i drive and brake for maybe 2 kilometres la..not braking so hard...then i come back home and thought everything is ok..BUT..when i touch my break disc,it is hot as hell, even my rims is hot!! :o only the front wheels, both of them..the rear wheels is ok..and there a smell..like something burning..i think maybe because of the break oil that get to the disc...and when i break..the oil burn..maybe la..but the main problem is the heat la..so hot!!like my rim just went back from hell !!

Any opinions?? <_<

u need to bleed ur brake fluid...
when the rims are hot meaning that ur brake is jammed...
that y u smell the burn n felt the heat....
better repair it or u will kill ur clutch plate aka burn ur clutch.. :o

waa!!that bad arr??i already bleed it la...ayyo..maybe the break is jam la...so,how?bleed and all the problem solve?? :(

i tot all disc is hot?

no,only the front disc !!!why does it effect my clutch???

and anyone can teach me how to bleed the right way???PLEASE !!!already done about 3 brake fluid bleeding in 2 week and the money is killing me !!!

which tyre are hot??
got any diferent on the brake pad dust?

my wira jam brake b4

i change the clipper which is jam and every thing solve!

new brake pad is thicker... so u have to remove some brake oil from de resevoir so dat it wun be too full...

when de pads r new... it new a run-in period... according to instructions.. u need to drive to 60 kmh.. n brake moderately until 20 n repeat for a bout 5-6 times...

dats my experience lar.. others i duno.. :)

after let go the hand brake can the car tyre roll easily??

can all the 4 wheel roll smoothly??

or u feel like one wheel is jam hard to move???

u must feel it ur self

dude ,
no need to worry about the brake fluids , now you had installed the brake pads , without turning the piston to check weather its jam'ed up or not and , and you should screw the piston in , so that the pads has clearance to make sure that the pads fit in nicely in the calipers . right now i bet your pistons is on the outwards side , which is pressuring the pads to your disc rotors , which is making your brakes hot & rims hot , when the pads gets hotter it expands and will lock your wheels up .

man, this is so damn true, yesterday, after i finish work,i open the tyres and see that the brake pad keep pushing the disc..even without breaking..that why the disc is panas like hell !!So what can i do??and the brake piston is damn "keras" la..hard to push in..i push it in and there a gap between the brake pad and the disc..but,when im break again..the gap is lost !!!it stuck !!that why my brake is hot !!

right now i bet your pistons is on the outwards side
>>outwards?can you explain this vestax ?? i dont want to lock my wheels. :(
