4AGE dont have valve lift, only have VVT which is after 4,000rpm baru open.

SR16VE is great engine but maintenance is damm costly because no spare part from local, everything need import from JAPAN. lack of performance kits.

B16A,B,C damm good because got so many spare parts and performance kits.

i dont have any of the above engine in my car. hehe......... too bad.....

Is this the same SR16VE that's in the Pulsar Neo VVL VZ-R? Because if it is it destroys any 1.6 liter Vtec engine peroid.

yes. it is in pulsar neo VVL.
but B16A has more upgrade kits than SR16VE.

For stock vs stock engine,.. I cannot think of any N.A (or even turbo?) 1.6litre engine that could come close to either of those B16s.

1.6 engine power also not much. i think B18C with 200bhp is damm great!!
the american playing with V6 and V8 and we are playing inline 4. hehe.

Umm stock for stock SR16 Neo VVL engine puts out over 200hp compared to the 185hp of a Civic type R ek9.

Sure you can take into consideration that there are more upgrade kits to get a B16A into 200hp territory but i'm pretty sure none of those kits can do it without stroking the motor.

stroking is the best way to gain more power for NA engine.
B16A engine no problem put in supercharger or turbo. the american or australia people likes to plug in turbo into B16A.

SR16 Neo VVL N1 is a super engine because it has better torque and power and only made 1000 unit around the world. the engine response is damm good but i never try it before. this engine is not cheap somemore. better put 3SGTE.

yeah 3SGTE the turbo engine. can found in caldina also.
u can install 3SGTE into a corolla. got people install it and running front wheel.
of course i dont guarantee the JPJ will approve larr.........
