You're already talking to someone who has tried using a 0450 ecu with a SAFC and shift light to activate mivec. I also have 7 degrees static ignition advanced timing. 150whp is the proof. Sure i can achieve more but i have to wait til i can afford a full piggyback. I've already killed plenty Mivec 1.6L with just basic mods.

If need be i can always throw up my dyno sheet. Keep in mind just because you have a reprogrammed mivec ecu doesn't mean you achieve instant 200hp at the crank - i'm still on stock 93p pistons.

maybe you are a little bit confuse or kinda slow on the brain...it's not about the driver that we a comparing rite now...i have driven a supercharger SEG...and it's nothing compare to VTEC coz rite now...we a discussing N/A engines...and you look kinda lost...and we are not interested whether u have tapau or not vtec,blacktop,nasik lemak or mee goreng with ur SC...

Bro, seem like between us have some " english " communication error ; maybe my english is poor and lead u to wrong understanding.
btw, I still noob on mivec set up even though I had been go through H22A with 4.5kg/ps power to weight ratio set up and 3 conversions done on my current Satria.
Besides this, dyno test is just an engine output feedback, it mean nothing and the most important is no matter how much ur burn for ur engine, make sure u go to the right way and get the perfect match

Remember a Mivec 1.8 doesn't exist. Getting a standalone of course would give me more power without changing my internals or anything. But based on budget and the almost 1 year i've been running my Mivec 1.8 with its current setup everything is fine. No negatives at all. My only complaint is that i wish i could use more ignition timing when my high cam comes in.

I thought i mentioned my settings already.

Mivec head
0.4mm gasket
stock 93p pistons
SAFC
Static 7 degrees ignition timing
2.3 inch exhaust
4-2-1 header (hot bits replica)
Drop in k&n filter
Stock 0450 ecu from 93p
Stock GTI gearbox (not sure what the code is)

Mivec ecu triggers high cam the same the shift light - with a 12v signal. The only other difference is that the Mivec ecus have a more aggressive ignition map when high cam is active.

there are a few ways to compare the 4 1.6L engine(with valve lift tech).

- torque and hp on stock engine
- torque and hp on modified engine
- how easy to find performance parts for the engine. as far as i know SR16VE have difficulty to find performance part in msia.
- how easy to find spare parts for the engine.
- how cheap to get the spare parts/performance part for the engine.
- gearbox that is using. (i searched in zth before and found that mivec 1.6L has higher torque at 1st and 2nd gear than B16A. but B16A has more hp at gear 3rd-5th.)

dont know the Levin is 5 or 6 speed.
6 speed is close ratio gearbox.
Blacktop comes with 6 speed and silvertop comes with 5 speed. correct me if i wrong.
