Hit and run - biker WNC 1057

Fucking morons. At a left corner from Bangsar to to the highway heading to Damansara Uptown direction, this bike with 2 people on it was heading the OPPOSITE direction at the MIDDLE of the left lane, on a blind spot corner.

Long story short, both parties swerved and my car ended up having the front bumper cracked, fender slightly dented, signal lamp broken, and side door smashed.

Bikers picked up the bike, tried to leave. I shouted at them to stop, which they did, then they said that they'll ride over to my side of the road (right side) but proceeded to run away. Assholes.

I estimate my total damage to be about 1-1.5k.

I have their number plate (WNC 1057) and am thinking to make a report tomorrow morning but I doubt it will be any good.

Any suggestions, guys?

play safe. lodge report. its illegal not to do so within 24 hrs. can fine RM300. at least u have the bike number, police may ask owner to present the bike at balai. if confirm got damage, then sangkut laa..

what happens when u dont lodge report, but the mcylists lodged one against you?

Thanks guys for the advice. I talked to my father and he said to make a report also. Just made the report just now, hopefully the police will do something about it.

Sigh... more money to repair my car.

And BTW, no need la to go around looking for them and whack them la... afterwards more trouble only. If I ever see them again then only see how la. Thanks guys. :p

dude , malaysia has this law that as long as it involves a bike in your accident
you are at fault if you're driving a car.

whether he bang u or u bang him or whatever , the car driver is wrong.

many ppl dunno this , so try not to run into a motorcyclist. not worth it.

Very true. I'll consider doing that too. If the motorcyclist was theoritically cycling properly, then maybe he would have a shot at it. If he was travelling in the wrong direction in the first place, hell, even the law wouldn't be able to save him. The fact that he is travelling in the wrong direction in the first place supercedes any law that can protect him. LOL.

after collison, quickly take photo before u approach 3rd party.

a picture says a thousand words. it will be ur witness.
