Hi.. this is the 2.0 litre model. The JDM Foresters XT comes with 2.0 litre where as the newer Motor Image models is the 2.5 litre.

The one that you have is Motor Image Euro spec which is 177hp sold by Motor Image. Mine is the JDM spec 225hp.. Same engine as the WRX.

New pics added. Japan Domestic Model Specs.. Not Motor Image Euro Spec. Imported new from Japan. In the picture, notice the speedo is at 180kms not 240 kms. Also in the pic shows STi intercooler, Samco intercooler hose and GFB Hybrid BOV 50/50 distibution. Guaranteed no stalling.

Yup. He's previous Forester is the Euro version. 177hp

why the original gearbox replaced with recond gearbox?

Its still running on original gear box. Just that we had it recond ie cleaning the internals and torque convertor and full flush of the atf. As this car is being used by the wife, i want it to be as reliable as it could be. U r welcome to see the vin plate still matches the gear box number.
