I think they meant 'restored to new', as in most of the parts are swapped to performance / new parts. The original Z-Tune certainly isn't a new car as well. Cheers.

shouldn't it be 2.6 litres??

original Z-Tunes uses the RB28 block based on the JGTC GT-Rs...which displaces 2.8litres...correct me if im mistaken...:)
