i;ve seen one fc in sunway area.

*just here to help carl*
it's legal to keep a left hand driven car.. but u'll be having a tag there writting left hand drive... warning... seen that alot from european mercs...
I dont know about US, but I heard for Japanese car, above a certain number of years you cant bring it in anymore. FC is rather old (more than 15 years) so it might be an issue. Its best you check with relevant Government agency.
U cant bring in any vehicle more than 5 years manufatured. i.e. YOM for 2001 is the min for 2006 to bring in to Msia. Next year has to be YOM 2002. The AP wont allow u to do that. Except u got doc proves that u worked (or studied) in overseas more than 1 year and u are now coming back to msia. Bear in mind the duty taxes u pay much higher than the used car dealer. Why? U got to pay full tax while the used car dealer have hidden discounts.
Back to 10 years ago, I tried to bring in my mazda from the UK. The duty taxes was 300% :mouth_closed: totally unacceptable... unless u bring in vehicle like 911 or 355 at that time.
