Mercedes-Benz Malaysia has officially introduced the GLA Nightfall Edition, a locally assembled special version of its popular compact SUV. Available in two variants, the GLA 200 and GLA 250 4MATIC. This edition focuses on a sportier, "blacked-out" aesthetic paired with a higher level of standard equipment.

The Nightfall Edition arrives as a significant lifecycle update, designed to offer a more aggressive look and better value proposition for the Malaysian market.

Exterior: The "Night" Treatment​

The hallmark of this edition is the Night Package, which swaps traditional chrome for high-gloss black accents. These elements extend across the radiator grille, roof rails, and exterior mirrors.

Key exterior differences between the two variants include:

• GLA 200 Nightfall Edition: Features 19-inch AMG 5-twin-spoke light-alloy wheels and LED High Performance headlamps.
• GLA 250 4MATIC Nightfall Edition: Steps up to 20-inch AMG multi-spoke wheels and adds MULTIBEAM LED headlights with Adaptive Highbeam Assist Plus for superior night-time visibility.

Interior: Sporty and High-Tech​

Inside, both models receive the AMG Line interior treatment. The cabin is upholstered in black ARTICO man-made leather and MICROCUT microfibre, contrasted with grey topstitching and seatbelts.

Standard convenience features now included across the board:

• Parking Package with 360° Camera: A significant upgrade for urban maneuvering.
• THERMOTRONIC Automatic Climate Control: Dual-zone temperature management.
• MBUX Multimedia System: Dual 10.25-inch displays with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
• Hands-Free Access: Part of the KEYLESS-GO package for easy tailgate operation.

Performance and Pricing​

While the GLA 200 utilizes a 1.3L turbocharged engine, the GLA 250 4MATIC features a more powerful 2.0L engine paired with a 48V mild-hybrid system, providing an additional 10kW boost for smoother acceleration.
