where did you get this paint from? Is this one of those vinyl paints that won't come off? How much did you buy it for? Where? How much?

Really interested to know cause I am trying to restore my own dash and interior...

those paint can get from Jusco and Ace hardware. they are called DPI autocolor...

the spray cans are smaller than normal spray paint cans... price is about rm17.90 for normal color.. n RM20.90 for my car color (Medium Silver AC16941)

have you tried them before? you used the krylon on your rims rite? how are they? any problems? peeling and things like that?

Jusco? 1 utama? ace hardware? ikano?

if the DPI autocolor stays on vinyl, i might consider buying them. Also... general...

how many cans did you use on your dash?

i have used those DPI autocolor on my grill... i bought a satria SE grill from PocketRocket... then i sprayed it to my car color... well.. de spray is quite easy to use... just spray it n get some even layers on it.... then after dat add another lacquer coat.. those rm5 from hardware shop will do...

the result is professional... looks like stock grill... stock color....

de paint stays on vinyl or not i duno... but if u spray at de console trims.. should be ok... use a fine sand paper to sand it a bit 1st... to provide some cleaverage for de paint.... i thinking to do dat in near future...

yep... bout de rim covers.. i just used it less than one week... so far no probs yet... but my finishing not done properly for de clear coat lar.... not smooth enough... haih... dun care lar.. just use it 1st.... later onli decide wat to do...

wanto carry on with other DIY projects 1st...

quite far for me lar.. i am staying in kepong now.. .takes about 45 mins to get to sri petaling.. i went for the previous TT at kelana jaya.. .but left early.. maybe din catch you khguan...

might not be able to join you guys cause sri petaling is a bit far away... if there are any other TTs around PJ then we'll meet up...

Just made a visit to ACE hardware yesterday....

Checked out the DPI autocolor that general used to spray the panels on the dash. Found out that the paint is acrylic paint. If I'm not mistaken, acrylic paints don't bond with plastic. Hmmm... guess I'll have to stick with Krylon for the dash.. and will have to find a good cleaning agent to clean the parts before spraying...
