If that is the case, then there is no use applying as the legal limit on increase in engine capacity nowadays is only 25% and not 30% like before. So a conversion from a 1.0 liter to a 1.6 liter is definitely way above the legal limit.

And previously JPJ was a more lenient in approving applications while they are much more strict right now, otherwise meandmybitch and his friends wouldn't face problems registering their engines, right?

meandmebitch was facing the problem that is they modified the engine mounting postition and it is stated in the law which you can change other makes of engine but not modifying the postition of the mounting

theres a law in which you can apply for capacity which is 25% higher but you have to personally go to putrajaya technical department not the ones near housing ares where you can renew rod tax and licence

anyways, good luck, or else y not jus buy a car which is alredi registered, less problems..... :D :D :D :D :D my fren jus bought a deto wit 4e inside... but jus hv 2 touch up lo...da wiring n all that....but at least its registered.....

getting release letter from jpj is easy for those who transplant 4efte but getting through the puspakom part is hard due to the modification of the engine mounting...(release letter from jpj putrajay is computer printed and it is sign by the head of jpj)

if you can make it as if it doesn't have any adjustment or it can be done nicely there will be no problem......

through experience...jpj will never have a glance at your car they don't even border to look at your car but puspakom will
