Are Signal Lights Optional For Malaysian Drivers?

WHat do you think of those people who dont know to give signal lights when taking a turn or overtaking??
Are signal lights becoming OPTIONAL ACCESSORIES for malaysian drivers????? Or, are they just morons?

Its the level of education these drivers receive. Its not so difficult to flick the signal lights but these people just refuse.

I'm not asking for too much, use your signal lights when the roads are busy so that people know you're turning in or trying to overtake. Maybe when you're in a highway and there's not many cars around, you can just cut in without indicating coz no cars around. Hate it when you're stuck in a jam and this joker just came out from nowhere and cut into your line.

usually i dont give signals when some morons are driving on the fast lane but at 60-80 km/h, then when people are flashing or coming closer to you so just go to the center lane lah... sometimes they just ignore. usually i just pass them thru left lane but very close to their car then make a sudden steer back to right lane or if wanna naughty, just slow down your car to 40-60km/h to make the morons feel how is it to drive slow at fast lane

Actually i don't see any reason for retaliating by cutting into their lane closely and purposely slowing them down. I mean two wrongs don't make one right. As you mentioned, he's already being a moron by driving slowly in the fast lane, why do you wanna be like him by slowing him down and trying to cause unnecessary trouble by cutting into his lane abruptly.

I've been in situations whereby the slower car in front doesn't wanna give way. Whether he does it by purpose or he's plain ignorant or in the handphone, it doesn't matter to me coz i just wanna go faster. I'll overtake him from the left and just speed off. No point giving him the stare, the finger or cut into his lane abruptly coz my objective is just to reach my destination earlier, instead getting stuck behind him for the next 10km. In fact, most of the time when i meet road hogger, they're just old folks who're not used to the fast paced driving nowadays or even P drivers or quite simply ignorant drivers who just don't give way to others.

mebbe those Bimmer drivers used to drive japanese cars which signals switch are in another size....infact they did tried to pull the signal but kena the wizers....did you see their wizers running when they turning ??? :P I kena before....i was driving a proton and occasionally driving a fiat....when driving fiat i always on the wizers when i want to on the signal....

these are the worst cases la, not using indicators at all. the not so bad ones but still damn bad are, turning on indicators just right before u turn.

ahaaha ya exactly! there are a lot more of those as well! they switch on their signal as their hands ALREADY starts turning the wheel in the direction they want to turn. convenient mah 1 action instead of 2. save energy i think hahahaahah

but most of the time (i oso have done this thing) it bcoz the driver is unsure of the road or ignorant (dreaming until nearly miss simpang). imagine having someone guide u from passenger side, and wait until so near the junction on a busy road before saying "ah, turn here!" and i go "oh shit! tell me earlier la so i could change lanes!"

crime commited. i admit i've done the "signal after turning" offense. haihz. no offense to girls but mostly i get that from them or my mom la. last minute only show me where to turn.

yeah. im forced to everyday. it is really not helping me to develop track (offensive) driving skills. sigh. if i had more cash and less love for my car... hmmm *evil grin*

usually i overtake them slowmo hoggers from the left, zoom off hoping they'd give chase muahahahahaha *evil grin*

the road is what it is. it will change slowly over time if we start a little and inform our children to continue a little, then their children to carry on... who knows, in 200yrs it may become a better place..

the other day worse ler... careful when u see cars at a junction waiting to come out into the main road...
that day i was driving down a road... my front car has already passed the junction and there was some gap between the front car and my car... i noticed a merc waiting at the junction on the left waiting to come out... after my front car left the junction, she didnt come out, so i thought she waited for me to cross only go lo.... when i was about 5-10metres from the junction, she sudenly press on the gas and come out into my lane... cibaikia, i have to jam on my brakes... and the merc was jz slowly accelerating out of the junction...

wonder if those aunties reaction could be faster... if they wanna come out should have came out earlier ma, i got time to slow down for her... waiti till last minite only come out, want die ar???
