Hi all,
As the diff between the engine block of 93p and 93T is the oil squirt is it possible to mod on on the 93p block?

yes its been done. but as i know, there are minor difrences that adds up. and overall, something is just not right...

the diffrences is not just the block, pistons. even the af sensor is diffrent, the intake maifold... air filter box.. cams.. alot lah.

if u want to mantain the same engine number at the expense of going without an oil squirt, just dump the whole gsr halfcut inside but swap the na block inside.

Just transplant a GSR lar... less trouble, and more reliable... you might end up spending more than expected doing all this kinda funny things.... might even end up spending more than dropping in a GSR in the end.

if u're driving a GTi... and u transplant a GSR... u won't even have to go for inspection man... just go to jpj, line up and pay them 30 bucks to change the engine number.

Is it possible to put GSR head onto 4g93p?
Then the cam duration will be the same as GSR with the expense of the oil squirter

a GSR head on 4G93P shouldn't be any problems right? correct me if i'm wrong! ;)

Urm.. why you wanna put a low compression turbo head into a NA. Its gonna make performance suffer. Anyway, if its a turbokit you're referring to. Just change the pistons! No oil squirters or build-in oil cooler? Get an external one. Leave the NA head.. you might be suprised with the response to a certain degree.

Still I'll go for the GSR engine kosong upgarde route....

yeah... a lotta ppl do that... coz' 4G93T head ports are bigger... so it kinda has a ported effect.... then just polish it loh. I've known quite a number of fast 4G93Ps around running with the GSR head. Compression loss? NAh... don't think so... lowered compression mainly comes from the pistons.... (note: MAINLY). Correct me if i'm wrong too...

Just port the NA head lah. Enough already. Up the compression (pandai² lah..), cun already.
Adj. campulleys, performance clutch, air filter & exhaust system upgrade.
Maybe chuck in a fuel regulator and a remapped ECU.

Good for 150(?) hp?.. dunno!
I should've done these with my original 4G93 NA instead of turbo here, turbo there, this n that... KECOH lah! <_<
