4G93 on a iswara !!!!

possible.... but havent seen any on the road yet....

besides, 1.5L iswara can upgrade to 1.8L mah... the only problem is the mounting point and jpj issue....

there are even vr4 engines in saga iswara....
 
i eman the problem is don`t u see it weird ? ...... me n roy dat day see a saga with 4G91 also like no space oledi .... damn packed ...... imagine 93 .....
 
ive mod many iswara wit dis 4G9x before bro, lil mounting adjusment, on the engine. mounting on the chasis need not to be touched. u wanna do bro? call me at 0163571811.

theres alot potential for this engine.

i dont have workshop bro, i just help frens to do their conversion / modification but maybe i can get the parts u want. just send me a pm and list them, god willing i can find all d items in ur list, ya. OR, just list them here, so dat u'll have more poeple dat will look around for u.

Hmm...this sounds nice. Modding the engine mounting on the engine side it self will not have problem with JPJ or PUSPAKOM? Because modding it on the chassis side sure got problem right?

how much does it cost?
can get approval from JPJ?
 
around what price for modding into a wira ... i wan a mitsub 4g93 not a putra or GTi ...

yep, wudnt have any problem wit the authorities. at least, none dat i supervise / did had any kinda problems. havent done dis kinda job in a long time, since i got the job iam in now, but i dont they'll be any problem as long as its witin the permitted displacement increment

las time i check, it was about RM2k for the cut and RM1k++ for the installation process. about RM3k+ ler kot.. i have to check the new halfcut price, or anyone can just go check at ur nearest junkyard. happy hunting guys!!

i think if u can find a GSR NA half cut, it wud be a direct fit into ur wira bro. no mounting has to be modified

editted : iam so sorry bro, i havent answered ur Q. i think a 4G93 NA halfcut gonan have similar price tag as the 4G91, maybe a lil bit expensive. i dont think u r gonna be charged dat much for installation as the process is a plug n play if u can get the half cut i mentioned above.

Hmmm... this does sounds nice and interesting. So, which one is better to put in a 1.3 Iswara? A 4g91 or a 4g92?

FYI, 4G92 has two version, MIVEC and non-mivec. both r 1.6 liter, both r good imo. if u alredi have a 1.6 liter block, then just change the head to a 4G93, wud give u better respons, but Fuel has to be richen as DOHC head wud definitely give better response as it is capable to support better airflow then the single cam head.

but for me, 4G92 MIVEC wud be a better option for both FC and power. u'll get good FC while driving sensibly and power is just a tap away
 
93 on a iswara

Bro,

My friend have done it.He have installed a 1.8putra engine in his iswara. Awesome power in it.the car was stable.Better pick due to lighter chasis. The part that have to modify is the mounting and also the driveshaft. Have to custom the driveshaft because the gearbox positioning will change when u insert a 1.8gbox in a iswara engine bay..

cacin-4g91-1500cc

-4g92-1600cc(if its a mivec better la,if its not still better also from 4g91)

i would suggest u to take 4g92...if ur current cc is 1300,ur car can get approval from jpj.No problem with that because JPJ allow 30% increase or decrease of the cc. So the max for a 1.3 is 1.6...if 1.5 then 1.8 can la...

if using conventional way, den the mountings hae to be adjusted. my mech does it by inserting an adapter, so the mountings neednt be touched. drive shaft have to be customised? ye ker? i never heard of dat before, maybe ur fren is using d 4G93 gb? FYI, 4G15 and 4G9x gb can be fitted directly to each other. so, i dont think customising drive shaft is a necessary, although it wud be a good idea since the power is upgraded thus increasing twist on the shafts.
