hi to all toyota's owner here..... me here got 4A-GZE 1.5way LSD gear box to let go. RM900 negotiable... :cool:

it different with 2way, and it can feel when kao kao hantam minyak in courner... very good feel 1.

yup,some of 4agze original gear box come with LSD...

emm well my LSD box also feel diff when hantam corner......emm actually my one no need to hantam corner kaw2 also can feel it......

4agze ori is using viscous or helical LSD? 1.5way meaning??

hmmm... how to tell u ler... aiya i also dunno how to answer u, i just know when the feel come, if u really wan to know how, u better ask it from other guy who best in this stuff. they may can help u on this question, coz me just know how to explain in myself oni... really sorry cant answer u here.... :D

1.5 Way LSD usually comes from Aftermarket Brand. Original LSD from Toyota is either Viscous or 1 Way Clutch type Hitachi LSD. How to know if it is an OEM LSD or Aftermarket one?, just look at the GB seam joints - usually if an aftermarket LSD has been installed in Japan, there will be some red gasket glue, ori LSD does not have this. I have used both 1.5 Way and 2 Way LSD - 2 Way LSD is simply unusable for daily driving becoz it was not meant for doing slow turn and U Turn, 1.5 Way is a bit more forgiving.

Some manufacturers make LSD's in different configurations and are commonly classified as 1 way, 2way, and 1.5 way. This designation reflects the design of the cam groove which enables the LSD to function differently under different loads. A 1 way differential means that the cam is shaped in such way as to have positive lock only when accelerating. The 2 way is constructed in a way to have positive lock motion in either acceleration or deceleration. The 1.5 way is a new term used to describe the 2 way cam which enables different lock up rates during the two directional forces. The 1.5 distribute positive lock stronger under acceleration than when decelerating. The 1.5 way can provide more forgiving balance when braking than a full 2 way setup, although it is less effective for true racing applications, it provides easier operation for beginners in throttle off conditions. It is also effective for front drive cars which need extra stability during braking...hope it helps...
