I've been searching the forum and all I could find on 4 pot brakes are the one by bro EG9.
1. RX7 FC calipers
2. volvo 850 rotors
3. custom brackets
Total cost around $1500 guestimate...

Are there any cheaper options that are on other sifus car?
Please disclose your secrets ah...

Thank you

does that mean for seg can use back original knuckle and just fit the r32 caliper and rotor on? or what mods are needed to fit it in?

SEG or SE have to use back the original knuckle to fit the caliper n rotor. of coz the mods is at the knuckle in this matter.

btw, found some1 in DCM selling this..hehe.. but it's for diff pcd lar...

Bro khwong, your mintex not yet use lah. the halfcut pad not worn out yet, very tahan.... How much $ for your 4 pot set? use what caliper/rotor?

Senior benjamin and banzai, to use r32 caliper/rotor on seg knuckle you just send to engineering w/shop to fabricate bracket is it? how much the workmanship cost?

i think mine is around 300-400..din rmbr much..
oh..dun forget brakepad too..if u use normal rm80 pad.. the performance is the same, or worse compare to a good twinpot or singlepot pad. my brakepad itself cost me rm400...:( but damn tahan when pushing it in track lar...

Hey, your car still twin pot right? When you want to go 4 pot?
You and me do a group buy lah, can get cheaper price right? hehehe

hahahaha,, yup.. still using twin port..

but twinport enuf for me la.. i drive car not as fast as u drive.. hahahah

i know Ex- EG9 car is using the FD3s 4 pots, need about 800-1k modification

Very weird la, why no go for twin pot only? save money. because normal use, it already more than enough le. 4 pot normally for track use or too high usage of the brake. Normally i found the brake problem is come from tyre , but not from the brake system le.

Any sifoo opinion?

Hehehe, I already have twin pot brake(mod to fit Mcpherson strut). and braided steel brake line, and double layer servo brake from levin.
If move to 4 pot, I need to sell the twin pot to get the budget.
I drive Kuantan-kerteh-Kuantan, Monthly almost 2000km milage. Speed average 80(in Kemaman town) to 180km/h(Kuantan bypass) .
I feel I need better brakes to stop from the higher highway speeds.
Previous tires Yoko ES100. Now Yoko Parada (15"). Thinking of switching to AD07 next, since they could not be any noisier than the Paradas.

maybe You wanna stop from 200kmh to 0 in 3sec.....

If above setup still not enough..If I were you i find solution from within...

EG9 also using standard brake pad on those 4 pot...
performance brake on 4 pot on 1.2k Kg car...hmmm...i wonder...

for me...2 pot, performance brake, steel braided, brake stopper...would be enough...

yeah.. totally agree..

bro mamat...if u really wanan stop on time.. u must use biger tyre size in term of 15" to 17" .. is sure more stable when 180km/h cruising n braking time also enuf makan.more surface contact.... ihiiihiiii.. dun shoot... my opinion only...

ala bro, don't say about me? I'm Dell DSP in Kelantan and need to take care of whole kelantan area. Every month over than 5000 km mileage. Speed also 80 - 240 km/h. But till now, i just only use single pot le, even not steal brake line but double layer from Camry, and worst is i just only Brigestone RE-01 tyre only le. :slug:

That why i still suggest only up to twin pot is enough le..

mamat bro,
perhaps its due to your recent accident make you think of going better brake which is good thing.

but i do thik you're having wrong mentality. for daily usage, twinpot is more then enough. for a good braking, its not saying as many pots means better. if your brake servo, brake line, brake fluid or rotor/pads wasnt in good condition, having 16 pots also no use.

also good suspension kit, alignment, wheel weight and tires also play a big part too.

to me, for your total stock setup with 4pots definietly overkill. you will mess entire brake bias balance and will contribute to accident instead of avoiding it
