yeah, it all depends with model also.. got lowest spec.. manual, auto.. the beams engine.. 4 cyl or 6cyl etc etc.. I guess its depends. But they are really cheap coming out from Japan.. If i got time, I would do a Altezza with a 2JZGTE and the 6 speed getrag gear box :P

it named as BEAMS engine, coz it produced together with YAMAHA company....

but got any idea is it altezza turbo version is beam engine bolt on turbo?bcoz saw altezza turbo in motortrader before.....planning to buy turbo version next yr once i receive my bonus.....hehehe...this yr project is convert my seg to blacktop.....but the guy who gain from it is my racer daddy n brother...due to i m working in Singapore but all my car in JB...luckily my bro...r converting he eg6 to k20a...so he wnt kacau my seg...

the japan spec is called toyota altezza, beam engine, as looked in malaysia
the export spec is called lexus is200, V6 engine (less power), as looked in singapore

Tom's produced at altezza Tom's Turbo 280 hp, limitted production., very rare in malaysia

I read somewhere, if you rev over 9.5k rpm the block will broke. so, just go till 8k if can until the engine broken.

thanks for you info...i will keep searching for TOM's version altezza...i though IS200 is luxury version (because is Lexus line) and more powerful?thn how abt the guy mentioned tat is a 6cyl engine ya?

shouldn't the rpm go further than 6000...?my svt i did until 6800 one time...but dunno the speed...
