The science
Nanoblok is another product for car that uses nanotechnology in preparing the metal oxide + activated carbon particles, which are then embedded into resins to make the fibre.
Basically, the activated carbon nanoparticles trap the ordor (gaseous) molecules into the particles' porous structure, and the metal oxide decomposes the molecules using the energy from the UV (Sunlight).
Nanoparticles of metal oxide are also used in skin care product - Sun Block. It absorbs the UV energy and transforms it into free electrons, which then taken by the emulsion.
In Nanoblok, the electrons are targetted to the odor molecules. The end result is decomposition of the molecules.
