[QUOTE="DDgreystar, post: 2114089, member: 5158"] hmm........buying an evo......evo 7 u looking for specifically ? or is there a specific budget u after ? choosing a recond evo is difficult task, u hear tons of stories, car had very bad accident in jap and was fixed to look like new (check out some other threads here in zth, i recalled seeing a skyline r34 head smash teruk n yet the reworks was made to look like a perfection !!!), car had blown engine b4, car was stolen from singapore more n more n more but the basics u should REALLY look into is the condition of the car. Yes, condition of the chasis, if there is any special phenomenon to it. I recalled a visitor enquiring for a evo 7, had a choice to choose a great deal with tons of mild mods car condition was great however just becoz of budget difference, the deal was dragged n the car was sold to some other buyer eventually. Later on he bought a evo from another dealer at a slightly cheaper price but the chasis was full of RUST and having headaches to do touch ups and minor corrections here n there...... So wat does dis tell us?.....all in all....choosing a evo....a cult status isnt dat simple....its not just by gauging on....oh the engine is e7, e8 or even e9. or just becoz its cover might be even a e5 or e6 ??
