Gerard, thanks for the detailed reply..so it'll be at least around RM 2-3k ;) initially, for the filter, plugs and exhaust mods bfr the SC kit..i don"t know much about these MMC ( which could be the earlier gen SGTi's ) and Siemens ECU + wiring looms..could you or anyone tell me which production year these MMC - specced SGTi's came out with? I've seen the pics in the Asian Auto site..perhaps you could shed more light about your filter + exhaust mods ( where to get 'em done, like the air filter remount :P and the exhaust mods ) What about the boost meter? Do I need to get 'em as well ( not included in the kit eh? ) What if I get these done bfr fitting the SC kit : open pod filter, iridium plugs, exhaust mod, S - AFC II..would there be greater gains to be had, and will I get max potential from the SC kit..read in a Autoworld posting on SGTi, read that the S - AFC II can re'tune' the ECU. So, if I get a Siemens ECU - fitted GTi and fit the S - AFC II, will I still get the max power from the SC kit without having to resort to fitting a MMC ECU + wiring loom? Ah yes, a test drive is a very good idea..but I don't get much free time nowadays ( have to work graveyard shifts, training new staff :( ) damn it..someone got nice, first gen SGTi for sale ( preferably low miles, accident - free!, no or minimum mods, since I want to do my own mods ( except for complete suspension change that's not too hard or bumpy - riding!
