So, 10:30pm off we went to Ah Ming's machine shop to modify oil cooler sandwich plate so no need to use adaptors and t-joint etc. Finish 1:30am went bak kut teh and sleep around 2:30am</p><p></p><p>Woke up 9:30 am install oil cooler, major oil leak because didn't tighten properly, but after more effort kau tim, no more oil leak. </p><p></p><p>11am, shower, pack for SG trip 3 days, 12pm left for sepang, late.</p><p></p><p>Managed 30 minutes of 80% trash, some corners 110% rev cut chasing a silvia :) - managed to tail him for his 1st warm up lap, then slowly he pulled away on 2nd lap, then my car died. </p><p></p><p>big ass oil cooler running on 112.5 celcius on 7k rev 90% of the time with occasianal 8k 40% of the time. Radiator water reservoir boiling still :(</p><p></p><p>Chu's normal size oil cooler gave up 120 at his top rev and 110 when he reserve to 7k rpm.</p><p></p><p>So, even big ass oil cooler is not enough for a sunday afternoon...... no wonder MME allot of cars died ..... because until today there are some track cars without oil cooler. .....</p><p></p><p>BTW, I'm using 20w-50 fully syn thailand grey oil - 20w-50 are known to keep heat longer than thinner oils. So it's up to you guys what oil you want to use....</p><p></p><p>5pm finish track day, shower in sepang, nice strong cold water :) - then off to KLIA for SG trip for 3 days working on acoustics simulation for auditorium.</p><p></p><p>Hope they don't hold me back until friday :(</p></blockquote><p></p>
